Edinburgh boss Alan Solomons expects a backlash from Glasgow Warriors when the sides meet in their 1872 Cup return match at Scotstoun on Saturday.
Despite claiming a 23-11 victory in the first leg at Murrayfield on Sunday, Solomons feels his team must improve further if they want to beat Glasgow on their home turf.
"Glasgow are a very, very good side and they’re at home at Scotstoun, so the wind is still behind their backs in that sense and they will be favourites.
"Although I was delighted at the boys winning at home, I think we need to do the little things better to have a chance in the next match.
"For instance, our kick execution needs to be a bit more accurate as that caused a lot of trouble for us and allowed Glasgow chances.
"We also have to cut down our error count as best as we can and our breakdown has to be at a high standard next time out."
Solomons hailed his forwards' effort, especially openside flanker John Hardie who was named Man of the Match for his efforts.
"Our set-piece was good and a lot of credit must go to the forwards and Stevie Scott, our forwards coach, who has done a terrific job,’ added Solomons.
"I also thought John (Hardie) had an absolutely terrific game."
Glasgow head coach Gregor Townsend on the other hand felt his side didn't gel as a unit.
"It was disappointing not to pick up a losing bonus point but we didn’t play well as a team," he said.
"I don’t think there was any player that played poorly. We just didn’t function well."
